Robin is passionate about engaging communities with heritage and empowering organisations to make positive change within their communities. Since 2010 he has delivered a range of audience development and collections management projects for several independent museums/community heritage organisations across Argyll. Alongside his core collections and curatorial skills, he specialises in community evaluation, including the delivery of focus groups and heritage workshops to inform strategic decisions. He is a Director of Ergadia Museums & Heritage and associate of SKS Scotland CIC. He also serves as museum mentor for 3 museums in South Uist, Lismore and Lanark. He is currently working with a team of consultants and statutory stakeholders reviewing community heritage in Scotland and leading a feasibility study for an ambitious heritage trail throughout East Cowal.
