DUNOON BURGH HALL TRUST
The Dunoon Burgh Hall Trust was established to bring the building back in to use as an arts-led community venue after more than 20 years of neglect. The hall first re-opened in 2009 following several years of campaigning, and set about delivering a creative programme of exhibitions, events and learning activities engaging the local community within a damp, cold building.
Dunoon Burgh Hall re-opened in June 2017 after full refurbishment as a cultural and heritage community arts venue. We opened with an exhibition of work by Andy Warhol as part of an ARTIST ROOMS programme. The building has full disabled access, cafe, museum standard gallery spaces, fully operational theatre, and workshop spaces.
